While the BoomBozz name has been around for ten years, the Taphouse is a new concept.  It was born out of a desire to marry the great taste of BoomBozz Famous Gourmet Pizza that Louisville has come to recognize as one of the Best Of Louisville Magazine with a pub-type atmosphere where someone can sit and enjoy the taste of a great, cold, delicious beer.  Great Italian food doesn't need to be enjoyed with the typical bottle of chianti (although you can have that if you want).  It can be enjoyed in a relaxed, upbeat, classic atmosphere. 

But why a "taphouse"? It's simple.  Because we love beer and we know that Louisville does too.  We want our fans to be able to enjoy a wide range of beer tastes from a classic American brew, to local favorites, to something obscure and new. 

We know that great beer is best served cold, so we installed Kentucky's first ice bar, a constantly cold strip of frosty space so you can set your beer down without worrying about having to choke down the remnants of what was once a coldie.
