
Tony Boombozz Pizzeria started in 1998 with a simple idea, one small pizza oven, and hard work. And it all started in St. Matthews on Willis Avenue. From the start, Tony Palombino was involved in every aspect of the business, from cooking to delivery, to running the cash register, to developing wild and crazy marketing ideas. He's always worked on the premise that if you try the pizza just once, you'll love it and keep coming back for more.
The idea is this: He used what he learned from his family and added hisy own flair with his own personal recipes...all with one driving goal in mind: Make the best pizzas he possibly could and do right by the customer. He decided to be practical and start off small, which was easy because he didn't have the money to start off big! And when the going got tough, he never forgot the name BOOMBOZZ is from Italian slang meaning WILD, CRAZY, AND FUN. If it's not fun, it's not worth doing...and if it's not good, it's not worth eating! The result is the totally unique flavor of a Tony Boombozz Pizza.
